第1回協定講座シンポジウム 「計算アルゴリズムと化学・生物学の融合」

神戸大学大学院システム情報学研究科計算科学専攻協定講座は，京都大学・大阪大学・奈良先端科学技術大学院大学・筑波大学・名古屋大学の5大学との連携によって構成された組織です．
本シンポジウムでは，化学反応や生命現象に対して計算科学の立場からどのようにアプローチしていくかをテーマにして議論をして行きます．分野の異なる先生方（メタ・ヒューリスティクス，化学反応・ポテンシャル曲面，タンパク質フォールディング）に基礎から講演をして頂くことで，分野間の接点の模索およびより深い現象の理解へ発展させることを目差します．
若手研究員や大学院生に幅広く参加して頂けるよう，ポスター発表を設けております．
みなさまの積極的なご参加と活発な議論をお待ちしております．

2nd AICS International Symposium
-Computer and Computational Sciences for Exascale Computing-

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
RIKEN Advanced Institute for Computational Science (AICS) was started July 2010 to promote the research and development for high-performance computing in Japan, and to be going to run the "K computer," a 10-peta-flops supercomputer which will be operational in 2012. This research and development should not only be achieved by Japan but also with various international collaborations. The 2nd AICS International Symposium will be held to explore such international collaborations.
AICS has eight research teams to cover the wide range of high-performance computing areas, computer architecture, system software, parallel programing language, quantum physics, quantum materials, computational chemistry, computational biochemistry, and climate modeling.
This symposium will have eight sessions to cover the eight research fields. Sixteen researchers are invited from home and abroad including AICS researcher. Each of them is full of knowledge, experiments, and insights in his field. If you are interested in this symposium, we welcome you to join and enjoy the symposium.
