本ワークショップは, 国立情報学研究所 情報学プリンシプル研究系および総合研究大学院大学 複合科学研究科 情報学専攻 速水謙教授の還暦を記念して開催されます.数値代数, 数値解析, 数値アルゴリズムに関わる, 国内外で活躍している研究者の研究内容について活発に意見交換を行い, お互いの研究に理解を深め, 学術交流を行います.学生や若手研究者が現在の研究動向について理解を深め,今後の動向を探る良い機会となるように企画を行いました.
The workshop is dedicated to Professor Ken Hayami on the occasion of his 60th birthday.Academic researchers in numerical algebra, analysis, algorithms have a face-to-face discussion about current problems in the research fields.Domestic scholar and researchers from abroad exchange ideas and techniques.Graduate students and young researchers learn current research topics and future research directions.

　ACSI (Annual Meeting on Advanced Computing System and Infrastructure)はJSPP, SACSISの系譜を受け継ぐ，情報処理学会のARC, HPC, OS, PROの4研究会が主催する国内会議です．これらの4つの研究会が対象とする研究分野を中心に，広い意味での先進的な計算を支えるシステムや基盤技術を対象分野とします．
　ACSIは，従来のSACSISが担っていた対象研究分野における国内最高峰の研究に関する発表や議論の機会を与えるという目的に加え，これらの良質な研究成果を国際的に発信することを支援し，主催4研究会を中心としたコミュニティの国際発信力を高めることを目的とします．その結果，従来のSACSISから以下のような大きな変更があります．
